Candidates for the municipal election may be present on a list of 19 names up
(19 vacancies) - The order in which the names are indifferent
(alphabetic or other ....) - A candidate may stand alone - Each
(candidate list or only) must provide their ballots before the opening of
polling on March 9 8h (8h 01 too late!) - Voters can use the ballots
made available, but can also write on white paper its own list In
addition to names of the candidates selected the ballot must contain no record,
drawing, ripping, clip or other distinguishing The mix In the
case of several lists in the presence, the voter may: - Scratching names
on the various lists - Add names in front of the names scratched or at
the bottom of one or lists But always taking care that the number of
candidates who were not removed or added is not greater than 19, otherwise the
vote is invalid. If the voter does a list in the envelope, it can:
Scratch-names - Register names in front of the names scratched
- Register names at the bottom of the page - All these
anotations must be undertaken using the same pen (pencil prohibited) The
bulletin is not zero, but the number of votes a candidate who will always be 19,
the names overpaid (without voice) will be deducted from the bottom of the list.
Voting March 9 elected candidates who receive an absolute
majority or 50% of the votes cast, and a number of votes in excess of 25% of
registered voters. On March 16 the remaining vacancies are obtained by
the candidates with the highest number of votes in the event of a tie, the older
candidate is elected. Each candidate must: - Be aged 18 years
minimum - Be registered on the electoral roll of Espéraza on 1 January
2008 or registered to the role of direct contributions (one of at least four
charges) Espéraza, on its own behalf (no company or undivided) French -
or to be a citizen of the European Union and not to be deprived of his civic
rights. - It is not required to reside in the municipality, or to vote,
the "non-resident" are called "advisers fairground" (4 maximum) - Case
of inigibilité: official territorial or magistrate or policeman engaged in the
commune ... Election of mayor After his election, the city
council meets on Sunday that follows, however, it is accepted that the election
takes place as early as Friday 20h if no appeal is filed to the court before
that deadline It elects from among its members the mayor and his
